Problem with Firefox 1.5 browser

The following 2 functions work properly when used with IE 5.0 on a Mac or PC but the first function does not work when using Firefox 1.5.

=========================================================
<!-- **** This function displays the "Please Wait....Processing Your Request **** -->

function showStatus() { document.getElementById("status").style.visibility="visible"; }

<!-- **** This function allows the user to press enter from the Log-In text box **** -->

function submitenter(myForm,e) {
var keycode;
if(window.event) { keycode = window.event.keyCode };
else if(e) { keycode = e.which };
if(keycode == 13){
<xsl:text disable-output-escaping="yes">var newInput = document.createElement('input'</xsl:text>
<xsl:text disable-output-escaping="yes">newInput.type = 'hidden';</xsl:text>
<xsl:text disable-output-escaping="yes">newInput.name = '-find';</xsl:text>
<xsl:text disable-output-escaping="yes">newInput.value = 'Log-In';</xsl:text>
myForm.appendChild(newInput);
myForm.submit();
}
}
========================================================

Any assistance will be greatlyappreciated.............Ray

Instead of using visibility, i'd use the "display" property...

display: block/inline/hidden...

Hi Dep, many thanks for your suggestion, I will try this and let you know how it worked. Right now I am buried in another project and will not be able to try this out for a couple of days............Thanks again, Ray
