    Changing img src by using javascript in chrome

    Hi everyone,

    I am using this funtion to change img src. This code works fine in firefox
    and display image as soon as it starts loading. However, In case of chrome it doesn't show image till image loads completely

    function loadXMLDoc(j)
    {

    document.getElementById("w1").src="";

    document.getElementById("w1").src="ak.gif";

    }

    You can preload the image so that when you switch the src to it, the image will appear instantly.
