    help setting up Jakarta Tomcat server

    Ok, how do i create the environment varialble %CATALINA_HOME% on widnows with my JSP server?

    Use the System applet in the Control Panel, on the Advanced tab you should see an "Environment Variables" button, you should be able to figure it out from there...

    Well, actually that's how to do it in Windows 2000. You can also drop down to the command line an type:

    set CATALINA_HOME=WhatYouWantToSetItTo

    both sould work.

    The command line setting won't be permanent though, use the System Applet.
