    Smile ToolTip font size

How do you change ToolTip display font size?

I'm interested in learing how to make the tooltip font size larger. I think if I can change the size of the
tooltip font I should be able to achieve this purpose. But how???

In what language? If it's API, couldn't you just use the WM_SETFONT message?

Sure but unless that tip is your own custom window, how do you plan on getting a handle to it?

But is the tool tip actually owned by the application? It's handled by the shell is it not? I'm just saying that I think you are going to have a pretty damn hard time doing it that way.

It shouldn't be that hard. If it's part of your window you (should be able to) just send the WM_SETFONT message, according to this article. But if you want to change someone elses, you'll have to enumerate all the windows and when you come across the tooltip_class32 class you can send the message. It changed the font for me, although it didn't seem to want to change to the font I specified...

From my experience changing anything owned by the shell is pretty hard, always has unexpected results and nearly never stays the way you want it. I'm going to have to try this now though. You've got me wondering.
