    c# compilers

    what r the famous c# compilers?
    r they free?

    Microsoft Visual Studio .NET is the only widely known.
    Mono might have one for free, though.

    actually. the c# compiler is in the .NET framework (free) it is the csc.exe executable in the framework directory. If you need an IDE to develop c# applications or asp.net with c# as the language, you can use visual studio or the free sharpdevelop ( www.icsharpcode.net )
