    programs for blind children

    Can somebody please suggest which language will help me accomplish the following;

    I need to create a program that can use DOSBOX and will start off asking an audio question by playing a wave file and waiting for a keyboard response from a blind child using a braille keyboard.

    Then depending on what is entered another wave file will play and this back and forth interaction will continue as long as the child wants to play.

    I thought maybe Qbasic but it doesn't seem to have the capability to play wave files.
    I am using windows 7

    You could try Python. It has built-in sound-playing stuff, and it's pretty easy to pick up the basics of the language.
