    Assembly vs HHL's

I'm 17 and I'm thinking of becoming a sys programmer, however I recently read that they use assembly to write the OS. Is assembly worth learning or should I continue with C or C++?

hahaha, many of the OS's are done in C and C++ but its good to know Assembly, its really easy, Im taking a class in it and, well I should say Im sleeping through class and am better than everyone else...hahaha...its really simple, very basic language, alot of hardware manipulation is done in Assembly, like drivers and such....check it out, couldn't hurt...
