Why are you writing it if you don't want to do it?

because I have never seen them in Java, they are always in C or C++ but the knowledge of how they work would be nice. Especially since I live on Linux/Unix now during the day and Win at night. The code + some good comments would make the time more efficient for me. Of course worst case is I have to write and learn as I go.

What's wrong with the scheduler that Linux already has?

Nothing, I just want to see the code for a working Classical Unix Scheduler. So I can look and see how the priority queues are set up and how its all put together.

Since obviously no one has code for the Classical Unix Scheduler does anyone know where to get some to save me some time?
