VC# - Windows Media Player and Paint

    Hey all,

I am currently trying to create something like Paint in order to draw on / over a video. The video is being played with Windows Media Player Library (Reference: WMPLib). What I want to do is to pause the video at some stage, click a button (ie pen tool) and draw lines, dots, whatever over the video. For that to work I need a transparent control, so far I tried using a TransparentPanel which is a user control I created with a transparent background.

I know how to paint on an object using Graphics.DrawLine etc, but these only work with the Paint-event. However I want to be able to use the cursor to draw, so then I need to use the MouseMove, MouseUp and MouseDown events with which I can't draw.

Any suggestions on how I can solve this? Or questions if I didn't explain myself properly?
