    VS2008: BETA 2 edition - proceed to download ?

    I try download VISUAL STUDIO 2008 EXPRESS EDITION but is BETA 2 edition , well this will differ a lot from the new comer normal corrected edition (non BETA) ? proceed to download or wait till newcomer normal edition arrives ?

    well i downloaded visual C# 2008 beta 2, and to be totally honest there isnt much more to do than 2005, but its still a good practice to have the updated software. As for waiting, it wouldnt hurt to download beta and then just upgrade later. But thats up to you.

    IF I INSTALL beta 2[express edition] and later I want to upgrade to normal version what to do ? Is needed UNINSTALL and again INSTALL ?

    well you could install the new version once it comes out, it should over write the old but keep all your prefrences and projects. or you can back up your projects, uninstall, and install the new one, then just import your projects.

    Be aware however that since it is a beta, you may encounter stability or usability problems since it isn't a finished program. You can certainly try it out if you'd like though but it probably shouldn't be used for day to day real work.
