I need to test out programming =/

Does someone have a script or scomething for programming that I can use to just see how it works, I don't care how simple...the simpler the better. Just please help me by posting the script, and how to make it into a program thanks =]

Well, you know the programs that are built for certain purposes, like calculators, translators and stuff like that?...I want to know what language I need to know to make programs like those in .exe form. As you can tell I'm pretty much clueless when it comes to programming.

    Thanks,

There are quite a few languages you could use to do that: VB, C++, C, C#, the list goes on.

What kind of programming languages do you know now? Anything from the web? Javascript or PHP or something like that?

I'm very fluent in HTML(isn't everyone?), I've been doing CSS for a few months, and I'm comfortable using JavaScript. Which language would be the easiest to learn, and most useful?

    Thanks, kosstr12

Email me at brad211987@gmail.com and I can give you a few programs in Java that will give you a good idea of the syntax, and a few other things.
