Security issues while trying to install software.

    Hi All,
I was trying to install Sonar 5 and it got to a stage where I was told "You do not have access to make the required system configuration modifications. Please rerun this installation from an administrators account." Of course I'm an admin on my laptop but to be double sure, i logged in with the Local Administrators account and ran the installation again. I got the same error message towards the end. OK, I went into the registry and granted myself full permissions on the keys the program would be editing and tried running the install again. Alas, same error message.
Perhaps it would help to know that my laptop was once part of a domain which might be responsible for all the security issues but it's now disjoined from the domain. Right now i'm confused and don't know what to do next.

NB: I've posted the install.log file for viewing
