    Checking which program is accessing hard disk and internet connection

    Is there a program that can check which program application is accessing hard disk? What about internet connection?

    Your firewall will most probably tell you what's accessing the Internet, I know ZoneAlarm does.

    http://www.sysinternals.com/Utilities/Filemon.html can see what files programs are accessing.

    ZoneAlarm...hm..yes it does, but it seems limited (4 program i think)

    Task Manager will tell you what's accessing your hard disk. Open Task Manager, Click on View and click "Select Columns". A form appears where u can select what you want to see. Select I/O Reads and I/O Writes and click OK. Now you can see processes are currently accessing your hard disk in Task Manager
