    Display Like Internet Explorer in Netscape

    Do all versions of Netscape have the Display Like Internet Explorer function? I know Netscape Browser 8.0 does.

    It was added in version 8.0 so earlier versions don't have it. It is also specific to Netscape so other Gecko based browsers such as Mozilla, Firefox, and SeaMonkey don't have it either.

    You can get a plug-in for firefox to do it however.

    The reason I ask is because my website doesn't display/function right in Firefox, which is simulated in Netscape in the Display Like Firefox mode. Do earlier versions of Netscape only display like Firefox, or do they show up like something else?

    NS7.2 displays mostly like Firefox. You'll have a few quirks but not many if any. Anything under NS6 might not display like Firefox. I have NS7.2 and NS 8.0 post a link to your site if you can.

    The links in the nav bar appear halfway down the buttons.

    Click Games and try to play Virtual Ping Pong or Racing. If it says too slow, without showing a ball coming at you or a car going around a track, then the browser is skipping the splash intros, which is what I use for those games. I could get around it by using a script I used on a different game--Secret Agent. Open Secret Agent and look where it says "In the year 2005,". That should change to say "The U.S. Department of Homeland Security created a branch of the CIA devoted to the collection of international intelligence.", and so on. Please tell me if it works. If it does, I will use that script in my other games.

    I also used splash intros for the cinematics in Secret Agent. For those, I could just make animated gifs.

    Well your links are half way down due to default margins and padding on the paragraph tags
    Code:
    .buttontext {
    width: 150px;
    font-family: Comic Sans MS,Comicbook;
    font-size: 120%;
    color: ffffff;
    text-decoration: none;
    text-align: center;
    cursor: hand;
    margin:0;
    padding:0;
    }
    You also need units in CSS unless its a 0 value.
