    Router and internet going out?

Hi, i have a d link 524 router that has about 9 things plugged into one port. For about a couple hours the internet will stay on and then for 1 second the internet goes out but the works right away. I am wondering if it maybe that my router cant handle that many computers at once? Has this happened to someone else. Hope to hear from soon

    Thanks!!

I believe some routers have a limited number of connections that can be open at any given time. You might be maxing out the connections? Do you have the latest firmware for it?

I take it you're using a switch to connect the 9 devices to your switch. I've run 6 from my switch before into one port on my router and it's worked fine but not nine. What's the average load of your internet connection?
I'd do as what spookster has suggested and try updating the firmware if a more recent release is available.
