    WinPopup

    Hi Guys,

MickyDuff in their wisdom have removed a nice little prog "Win Popup" from Win 2000. Can anyone point me in the right direction to find a similar prog for use on a Win2000 network?

i'm assuming you're looking for something that would work only on the network, which would put AIM, ICQ, etc, out of the question.

i personally don't know of any programs like this, though i do know they exist. try googling for them, though i'm gonna say right from the start, that the chances are low that you'll find a good one that's free.

    Hi Joh6nn,

Thanks for your response. On the network in question the use of Net Send is out of the runnibg, the command prompt is disabled. Whilst waiting for any possible replies to my question I of course searched the net and I was lucky to find a small free prog that uses the net send command and has a GUI. If you are interested, the name of the prog is NetHail for NT and can be found on the Geocities web.

    Thanks again for your interest.
