Question Virtual Memory error - Paging problem - Help me

    Hello guys,

I am getting low virtual memory error for Win XP Home. I have changed the settings under

System ->Advanced -> Custom size to 500 min and 500 max.

But still after restarting the system, i get the same error before logging on.

    Do you have any solution.

    With Regards,

    Praveen.

Right click on the start bar and click task manager and go to the performance tab. How much does it say for PF usage. Additionally, how much physical memory do you have in your computer?

    Sorry for the delay

    Hi man,

    Sorry for the delay yaar.

It shows 85 MB in Windows Task Manager Performance Tab.

And the physical memory in the installed drive is 10 GB.

Read the article, it explains what it is, how it works, and how to increase its size. Links to the next pages in the articles come after the content. The Max size really should be about 1.5-2 times your available ram.
