mp3 player track listing to paper?

    hi,
i have a creative zen jukebox xtra mp3 player and i was just wondering if it is possible to transfer the list of tracks to something like word, so that i can print out a list of whats on the mp3 player.

    any ideas?
    cheers

Hmm do you know what type of file is used for the playlist? Is it m3u? If it is then you can open it in notepad and print from there if you like.

dunno, i'm afraid. the only thing you can do with the playlist is add or delete tracks etc. doesn't want to do anything more complex!

Does it show up under the My Computer window on your system as a removable harddrive? Can you just navigate through manually without using the software it came with?

yeah, you can explore the whole "drive" manually - then it shows as a very long list of tracks.

Search the drive using the windows search feature. m3u is probably what it uses since its the most compatable with operating systems.

Then I guess the thing is now to read your owner's manual and find out what playlists it uses.
