    Is 95 watts enough?

Hi, i am going to run a opteron 1.6ghz cpu 512 ram (3) 200 gig hard drives and one fan and a 128 graphics card. Do you think 95 watts is enough to run all of that?

    Heck no
Note: I do not test code. I just write it off the top of my head. There might be bugs in it! But if any thing I gave you the overall theory of what you need to accomplish. Also there are plenty of other ways to accomplish this same thing. I just gave one example of it. Other ways might be faster and more efficient.

    350

Yeah, 350W to be on the safe side, which is what's installed in many high-end systems these days.

Yeah, I'd also say to go with a 350W power supply.

yeah 400w is really safe. if you look at most of the midrange gfx cards they require 400w power supplies. my 7600gt needs 350w at least, but if its SLI, then it needs 400w, so i'd look up your parts and find out what the minimum is. also it is midly IMPORTANT that you check and make sure that you have the right number of pins for you main connector from your power supply for your motherboard. woah that was a long sentence.

If your PSU isn't strong enough or is failing, you can end up with all sorts of weird problems..for one, one of our schools servers (ok, one of our older ones - dual 800mhz PIII with 1GB RAM) crashed everytime someone did a page request - it was running IIS. This was weird, but when we changed the PSU it was resolved.
