    Exclamation troubleshotting problems!

    i have a system unit that runs under win XP pro...recently it was infected by a WORM virus (brontox)..it did duplicate a few of my files..and now my folder options at the tool bar is missing..this means is cant open my hidden files..and i did tried to format my system unit..but i cant format my system unit..how is that is possible..i just can repair it windows but i can format it..did the virus cause all this damage..

    Your english in the last sentence is not too brilliant -- are you able to format your C drive or not? (confused).

    Boot your system with the XP CD and it will let you delete the existing partition. Then create new partition and tell windows setup to install XP there. Setup will automatically format the partition first.
