    managing internet explorer favourites

    Hi,

I want to know if there is a better way of managing links in my "favourites" in internet explorer. What is the best way you have found in managing these?

Also is there anyway i can save a favourite to a specified folder on my computer, rather than having to open the favourites folder and "cut" and "paste" it to where i want to put it?

    Cheers,
    Chris

I find IE6 favorites pretty easy to use. Instead of moving your favorites to a different folder maybe you can try just creating subfolders within the favorites folder. Then you can organize your favorites in these folders anyway you like. For example I have Subfolders called: Forums, Search Engines, Shopping, etc. If you don't like that pesky "Links" folder that will never disappear no matter how many times you delete it, simply right-click on it > properties > and choose "hidden". Also, using the Favorites button on the top nav menu in IE6 brings up a nice explorer view of your Favorites. Hope this helps.
