    Print Server and USB Hub

I'm wanting to get 4 printers networked, but don't want a computer to have to be on all the time to use the printers. Can I buy a cheap wired or wireless print server and attach a usb hub?

Here is one such device. I know that there are many more out there though.
Note: I do not test code. I just write it off the top of my head. There might be bugs in it! But if any thing I gave you the overall theory of what you need to accomplish. Also there are plenty of other ways to accomplish this same thing. I just gave one example of it. Other ways might be faster and more efficient.

Does that one specific item work with a hub, or are you saying that all will? I can't find anything in the description claiming that it will. Thanks for the response though.

I'm not really sure any devices will work like that. Usually from what I've seen with ethernet print servers is that you hook one specific printer to one ethernet device. And you are right, in order to do it the way that you want, it would specifically have to support that kind of setup because the ethernet print server would probably need to support multihoming. That way each printer connected to it would get its own IP address.

Yeah. That's the same conclusion that I've come to after researching it a little more. Print servers are pretty expensive so I was hoping of finding another way to do it.
