    iTunes Album List

Don't suppose anyone knows a way I can create a listing of the albums I have in iTunes?

I've found stuff like http://spark.is-a-geek.net/itunesxhtmlplaylist/ but it insists on listing all of the songs, not just the albums.

If you have excel, then I know of another way to do it. Open up your library in iTunes, show only the name of the song and album, select all, copy. Paste the results in an excel spreadsheet. Then follow this guide on deleting duplicate entries.

This will leave you with one copy of each album name.

Thanks I might give it ago, I found something earlier which basically automated the whole process, but I use OpenOffice not Excel so it didn't work.

I'll have a look and see if it will still work.

    Done it !

What I did (for anyone else wanting to do it) -

    Copy whole iTunes listing.
    Paste into OpenOffice Spreadsheet.
Delete all columns except Artist and Album.
Go to Data > Filter > Standard Filter.
    Click 'More >>' button.
    Tick 'No duplication'.

Sorry for the triple post but just want to make sure it gets seen!

    Now I have another problem...

OpenOffice saves as HTML ... 3.2. In table form as well (which I suppose is semantic but each cell has been styled in HTML!

Anyone know how I can convert an Excel/OO spreadsheet into 'good' HTML?

    ---------- EDIT ----------

I had a cunning idea which worked in the end....

    Then copied and pasted.
