    Windows Restore Points

I was wondering if there is a way to remove old windows restore points. I have received an old'ish computer and it has about 50 restore points. Is there a way that I can remove say the last 40

I think disk cleanup removes a few of the old ones, however when I checked on my system they didn't even appear.

You can turn it off and turn it on again and that will clear the whole lot. The whole way that system restore works is flawed IMO because all restore points are stored on one table - meaning if one becomes corrupt, for some reason the whole lot become corrupt.

Yeah one of the tabs under disk cleanup, there is a button to remove all but the most recent restore point.
