Question Blank DVD showing only 680 MB - Why??

I'm trying to copy a DVD which I own, but when I try to write the files to a NEW blank DVD, it tells me that 139 MB is used, 540 MB free and a total capacity of 680 MB?

This is a new box of DVDs showing 4.76 GB on the box. I tried another one but it came up the same.

Anyone know what the problem might be please

    Hrm..

    1) Are you using quality, branded media and not the kinda stuff you'd get off some dodgy guy down Clacton Market?

    2) What DVD burner do you have and have you tested the media in other burners?

I'm using good Philips disks which came from a decent shop. Definately nothing wrong with them.
Theres nothing wrong with the burner either.

Its just been since I installed Cyberlink DVD reader that this has occured
