    Reporting spammers in China ???

    I looked up this IP (61.152.169.27) on www.domainwhitepages.com and want to report these arses for spamming my site but I do not see an abuse e-mail and because it's in China am afraid of using one of the e-mails that are listed in this lookup.

    Does anyone have any other suggestions for getting these f'kers to stop spamming my site?

    Do these people in China and Russia have nothing better to do with their lives ?!?

    Thansk for any help

    Assuming you are on an Apache server, you can block their IP, like so:

    Code:
    order allow,deny
    deny from 61.152.169.27
    allow from all

    Yeah well, a lot of organised crime comes from around Russia etc...
    I had someone trying to spam me via email, so I just added a function into my mail script to stop any crap coming through from that IP address and several other Chinese ones - got nothing so far

    I have script in place for indiv. IP's

    Code:
    $banned = array (
      '61.152.169.27',
      '61.152.169.28'
    );
    if (in_array ($_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR'], $banned)) die ('Banned.');
    is there a way to ban a range of IP's as opposed to individual ones? Can I do '61.152.169' or 61.152?
    Could I also use REMOTE_HOST to ban anything from .cn?

    Yes, you can using .htaccess as I showed you in a previous post. Just use that partial IP to block anything from that subdomain. Works for domain names too.

    Here is a great source for using .htaccess to block by IP or domain. Hope it helps.
