    Default Browswer Question

I am currently running a Toshiba notebook with XP Pro SP2 with 2 administrator profiles.

In one profile I would like to have Firefox as my default browser
In the other profile I would like to have IE as my default browser.

Is this possible? If I set one as default it becomes the default across all profiles.

I don't think you can do this as the default browser is assigned the file/mime type as well which is a pc wide setting. I could be wrong though. Try setting the defaults with the applications instead of the defaults wizard.

That's what I was guessing at. The default browser is governed by the application that opens .htm/.html files. This is a pc wide setting. I do think that the next version of windows does have the ability to do seperate default apps, but I could be going on hearsay.
