critical update for FF wont d/l :(

I have a critical update to install for FF. When I click to install, it throws up the large dialog box which has the 'little spinning black wheel' and the prgoress bar. But nothing happens.

It seems that I just can't download that update so can anyone suggest an alternative. should I download a complete browser? I don't like being vulnerable and I break out in a sweat with the slightest notion of going back to IE.

Hrm that's weird....I say just go to www.mozilla.org/products/firefox and download the whole thing, thats what I do. Afterall, all the updater thing in FF does is download the complete installer and then install it

    Thanks Weazel.

FF 1.0.4 d/l'd. I was previously on the ancient version 1.0.3
