HP has the new(er?) Lightscribe technology out. Heres a basic breakdown for those who don't know what it is: Burn an HP Lightscribe CD-R(W)/DVD-R(W+- whatever) with the Lightscribe Burner, then flip it over and burn a sepia-ish image of whatever you want onto the top as kind of an etched cover without the stick-on label.
Anyone else heard of this? What do you think: Is it rad or trash? As far as price goes, the burner itself is $80ish, and the cds are $1/cd, so not too bad considering you get perma-labels on them.
