    Program building?

    Hey guys,
this is going to sound completely nooby and I apologies in advanced however,
I am looking to design a software prog, I remember using a program where you could literally drag and drop certain stuff for example, if I wanted to add a text field with input I would click on the right hand side and there would be tools, can't remember the program.

All I really want it for is to design GUIs just as a hobby,
    could anyone help me out.

I said it was nooby haha, sorry.

It would help to know what you want to do with it? Automation? Are you willing to script on top of the gui creation process? AutoHotKey (AHK) is an easy to script language and you can download a GUI creator to build the look.

Hey, I am wanting where I can make a program where people can use as an example so text fields where they can fake input but won't go anywhere so it can be used as a kind of dummy design, I have seen a program a while back where it was drag and drop kind of thing, then you export it and then it runs like a proper program (.exe)

If it doesnt need to do anything and you want simple text fields picklists etc, i would say just download AHK (and AHK GUI creator) build your GUI and use the programs converter to change it to EXE.

What language are you talking about? There are several programs like this out there pending what types of systems you are working with (for example PLC programming uses this kind of feature extensively- obviously you're not working with PLC's- just an example). I think the keyword you are probably looking for is WYSIWYG(what you see is what you get) type of IDE (integrated development environment) but without some more details, not sure.

    I code C hash-tag .Net
    Reference: W3C W3CWiki .Net Lib
    Validate: html CSS
    Debug: Chrome FireFox IE

You could certainly use MS's Visual Studio. They have free versions of it (Visual Studio Express).

But if you don't know how to program, then all you will get are fill-in-the-forms that don't actually do anything.

you can do that in Micro$oft Access as well .. + you dont really need to know how to program to use it.. I used to use Boorland Paradox ... long time no see
    resistance is...

MVC is the current buzz in web application architectures. It comes from event-driven desktop application design and doesn't fit into web application design very well. But luckily nobody really knows what MVC means, so we can call our presentation layer separation mechanism MVC and move on. (Rasmus Lerdorf)
