    Running a server on an old/linux

    Hey, I was wondering, would it be possible to run something like a Minecraft server off of an old computer running Linux? This computer is originally Windows XP, and if need be I could install more RAM. But would it be compatible/Optimal for running one?

    You'd have to verify everything is supported by the OS and hardware, but otherwise I cannot see why not. Linux is efficient with the hardware, so you probably won't need any additional ram either if it supported XP.
    I converted an old windows 95 box into a webserver years ago. It lasted until about 2005 when the hardware finally quit on it. It had 32MB and 800Mhz cpu in it. It was blazing fast.
    PHP Code:
    header('HTTP/1.1 420 Enhance Your Calm');
