I had a UPS and it was working fine for like a couple years, but now the computer won't start, only the fan works when I turn it on. I disconnected UPS and now all is fine - so what's the problem with the UPS?
Does the UPS have a self test button on it you can use?
If there is no self test button then try turning the UPS off and back on - most run a test when first turned on.
The only explanations I can think of as to why the computer will not turn on are:
1. the UPS has been turned off
2. The power range settings in the UPS have decided that the power supply is out of range and has switched to battery with the battery having been fully used.
My UPS worked fine for poweing the computer throughout the week between determining the battery was dead and installing the replacement so I doubt that is the cause of the computer failing to operate through the UPS.
You must need to contact to Computer Engineer who will help you to fix this issue. Here are not near to Your PC nor we can see what issue. So a person will see it and then able to find the problem....
So please to with Computer Expert Engineer and get his services
Also it is not always necessary to be actually at the computer to be able to advise how to fix these types of problems - the posts in this thread demonstrate that with suggestions as to things to try.
I think your UPS cable connection is may be disable.you can check it and try again.
