I just installed VLC 2 on my new Mac Book Pro, and for the life of me, I cannot get the Playlist to work?!

VLC lets me create a new Playlist and save Streaming Radio Stations to it, but then it doesn't seem to recognize it?!

To save things, I went to VLC Preferences > Show All > Playlist > Default Stream and then inserted the path to where the m3u file is saved...

Code:
/Users/user1/Documents/_RADIO_CAPTURE/+TEMPLATES_2013-07-25/__MyVLCPlaylist_2013-07-25.m3u

When I open up VLC, I see this yellow triangle next to my Playlist, and if I double-click on it, I get this error...

Code:
Errors and Warnings

Your input can't be opened

VLC is unable to open the MRL '/Users/user1/Documents/_RADIO_CAPTURE/+TEMPLATES_2013-07-25/__MyVLCPlaylist_2013-07-25.m3u'

I currently have VLC 1.1.3 installed on my older MacBook, and everything I described above seems to work okay on it.

But for some reason, I cannot get things working on my new Mac Book Pro.

Not sure if this is an issue with the newer version of VLC, or it has to do with having Mountain Lion, or what?!

Any help would be *greatly* appreciated!!!

Sincerely,

Debbie

P.S. If I go to File > Open File and choose my new Playlist that way, then VLC seems to recognize it. (But doing that every time I want to listen to music is a PITA...)
