    Converting FLV to AVI?

Hi, I have around 4-5 60(ish)MB files that are in the .FLV format, is there any decent effective converters that are preferably free to convert to the .avi filetype without losing too much quality?
    Thanks in advance.

The best video convertor is FFMPEG. It is an opensource tool.

But it is a commandline tool and you have to learn the commands. However once you learn the commands is very easy and powerful.

To convert flv to avi using ffmpeg you can use the following command

    Code:
    ffmpeg.exe -i video.flv -sameq outputVideo.avi

I have always used Win X Free in converting my FLVs to AVI. You can just search in CNET and download.
