    What a mess - Catch 22.

I have just Upgraded to Windows8 from Windows7.
I bought Fu copies to avoid needing to install Windows7 every time I nffd to refresh Windows8.
My laptop Installed Windows8 as an alternative complete with a menu choosing between Win7 and Win8. Unfortuneately this has completely wrecked my new laptop/

It will no longer respond toDVD,s inserted into the Drive.

As windows will not let me format drive C I have a catch 22 situation.

I need to start with a clean OS drive.

Any help very gladly received. I have spent several days trying to clear drive C with no luck.

You should still be able to boot from the DVD drive provided you have the BIOS set to look there prior to booting from the hard drive.
