Does a keylogger only track which keystrokes?

Hi, I have some questions about the keylogger. Does it track what your mouse does or does it just track the keys you press on a keyboard? And if it can track something like copy and paste, will it be able to track what you copy and paste when surfing online?

Keyloggers only track the keys that are struck on your keyboard. It doesn't track anything to do with your mouse.

Here's a good explanation of it from wikipedia:

    I hope this helps.

There are a few programs available that track keystrokes and take screen shots at the same time. I used Spector before and if you look hard enough on internet, version 1 can be downloaded for free
