The same way you uninstall any other programs but you may have to click "View installed updates", should be called Windows Internet Explorer 9. What do you mean by "my webpages"? Do you mean pages you made yourself or other people's websites?

Thanks. My problem is I do not have ie 8 exe to reinstal it was with my win 7 ultimate installation.I do not know how to roll back.My webpages are web pagees created by me only which most of them I see offline on my pc and I do not upload to any server. These pages display well only in chrome and there again I have problem in playing my mp3 files which I have created as a play list in the form of music-paylist.m3u which plays only in IE.chrome displays no plugins though I have installed Quicktime.
I get the same error message as " missing plugins in Firefox.9.
    Please guide me.
    thanks again

You don't need the IE 8 exe. Uninstall IE9. It will automatically roll back to IE8. Although I don't think it is the browser that is the problem. It is likely due to poorly coded web pages by you.
