    Audio doesn't stop

I have recently been getting an intermittant problem when listening to YouTube videos.

Could there be something wrong with my computer?

Sometimes when I close down a YouTube video and even come offline the audio keeps on playing.

This happens even when I closed down all software.
The only way I can stop it is to do a forced computer shutdown and them reboot.

Anyone know what causes this and how to stop it without having to do a forced shutdown?

    All help much appreciated

    Hi,
I believe two things might be happening.
    either
    1) Your audio codecs are corrupted and you have to update them.
    or
    2) Your browser is hacked and even when you close him, is still open to the internet.

    The most possible is 1.

Seems like codec keeps playing from cache memory and start to Not Respond. Why don't you try download this --> avi.codec.pack.pro it might correct you video and audio codecs.

you may go to processing to check out which programs are running after you turn of all browsers. some time we have hidden software run without permission.
and then find out the way to remove it.

my guess is the flash plugin may have crashed on your browser try using a different browser Chrome would be a good choice especially with it's task manager you could kill flash if it didn't die with the tab
