What are the benefits of online IT training or IT courses?

Aside from it saves gas/money when compared to commuting to participate and attend to traditional training, what other benefits can I get?

    No explanations? No reasons?

Well, I'd say that it depends on how you like to learn. If you really need the environment of readily available help, you should take it in person. If you
can be a self-directed learner, take the online courses. It all should depend on how you learn best.

If you are starting from basic then you need to take help of any institute near your area, this way you would learn something from the environments too, you would be guided how to find jobs.

Once again, it depends purely on how you learn best, there is no set best way for every single person.
