Using the GI Bill for school/certifications (former military)
Hey all, first post here.
I got out of the Army a few months ago and want to pursue a career in coding, It is something I have always wanted to do but have no experience and just starting to get the very basic knowledge of. I have a business degree, but not at all related to CS.
I am starting to learn on my own, but does anyone have recommendations on what type of certifications or programs I could do that might be covered by the GI Bill (military tuition assistance)?
I want to avoid having to take the GRE and getting a masters because of time restraints. But, using some sort of certification or actual program would be to my benefit because I would be able to get paid a housing allowance if enrolled in something, and also I think I do better at least starting in a classroom setting as opposed to strictly teaching myself.
Even just recommendations not related to the GI Bill would be greatly appreciated, just trying to figure out a good plan and outline for how to start this as a career. Thanks!
