If you could LOCK DOWN for 3 months and learn any skill/language, what would it be?

I'm nearly 40. I've been building sites using html, javascript, flash and other components for years. I have my MBA and I've been successful in my field... but things are slowing down and the "I need a website!" demand sure isn't as great as it used to be.

So I wish to lock down, a few hours a day for a few months, and become an EXPERT on one marketable skill set. And honestly, I don't have a clue where to begin.

    Wordpress? Joomla? ASP/NET?

My goal is to continue working from home. I want to sell 300 to 1000$ services to companies or individuals. I am very good at learning new things - But the truth is that I'm not really sure WHAT I should learn. What is the language/skill that I can do from home and have a steady demand of work?

Thank you so much for any ideas, suggestions, etc. It's humbling to realize I'm not as skilled/current as I used to be, and doing things "my way" is about 5 years out of date.

I was advised some time ago to start with Ruby On Rails. It seems like emerging thing, but you'll have to make your own judgment. Java often seems like a good solution to me, it's relatively independent from other programming languages.
