    Career start with Android Development

Hello guys! I'm almost 18 and I want to start developing apps for Android. I have a good understanding of how algorithms work, basic C++ knowledge(string manipulation, data structures, dynamic memory, never used OOP with it), really basic OOP knowledge(C# and Java; basically all I know here is the way of thinking and the keywords like private, public, static, etc) and again really basic knowledge of Javascript(+jQuery) and PHP+mySQL(I've used those to create my own blog from scratch -with an admin panel and stuff like that-, so not much).

I have no idea why I never really focused on any one of those, I guess I got stuck or bored at certain points(every time I pick a book up now, the basics are too 'basic' and the more advanced stuff is too advanced).

So, I guess my question is: would I be able to pick up Android Development with what I know now? And do you have any other advice on what and from where should I learn it?
Also, do you have any other pieces of advice regarding my general career progress? They would be very much appreciated.

PS: I'm not sure that I want to develop for Android. All I know for sure is that I love programming and I am really not sure which path to choose; I have to try them all first.

Id say your at the level of someone who finished first year in college.

You should really just go to college if a career in programming is what you want.
