    CS degree questions! For professionals!

My best friend got me questioning how many jobs are available in this field, I believe that this field has lots of job opportunities. But I want to know how many on here have CS degrees and what kind of jobs are out there for this kind of degree! Right I haven't really decided what field I really want to go into. I know that I like computers overall and I like web developing!
Another thing is how do employers looks as those who have a CS degree? Bc I am transferring from another college and my advisers told me the other day, that I could do a Business degree with a computer Science as a minor or many other degree like taking a liberal studies with the emphasis on a computer science degree. I'm just wondering how much credibility these other degrees that they have told me about have a significant impact in the professional world. I was told about a year ago that a B.A. or a B.S. is really important to have as a degree. I would like to hear some advice from some professionals in the field to see what they think would be best for me to do in this situation. Also could you tell me what professionals are looking for when they hire people, such as skills, the type of degree and etc? Also is there anything else that I should be aware of? Also what can I do to make myself stand out from the crowd, when looking for an internship? Also what can i do to hone my skills?

Thanks for the info, as this will help me in deciding what to do when the time comes for, jobs, major, and much more!

I really didn't think this was a difficult question, or questions to answer!
