    Career Choice

Now this question isn't only a career question but an education question. I start college in the fall for Computational Physics. What kind of jobs will I be able to get with this degree? Will it be worth it to get such a degree or should I get a CS degree instead?

Didn't you study the future benefits of the degree ahead of joining the course? It was your big mistake. You have to look for the possibilities of achieving great career before you are planning to join a degree course. Anyway, you will have good future if you complete it successfully. There is a possibility to become Physicist Research Scientist/Engineer with this degree. You need to do something beyond your capability and try your best to achieve your goals. I wish you all the best for your future.

For sure, you will get dozens of job offers in the banking sphere with that degree. Quantitative subjects are highly in demand. But as long as you're fit with programming languages, you'll find open doors into software development, too.
