    Http post

    I have been given this xml and ask to post to a url

    <eocrequest>
    <authentication>
    <username>eocrequestor</username>
    <password>I3bffCJF3eaXOWvwDppp</password>
    </authentication>
    <request>
    <type>link</type>
    <groupno>1503160005</groupno>
    <memberno>XFL123456789</memberno>
    <membereffdate>01012006</membereffdate>
    </request>
    </eocrequest>

    And this i should receive this response. Can someone tell me the quickest way to do this?

    <eocresponse>
    <response>
    <groupno>195001B001</groupno>
    <memberno>XFL123456789</memberno>
    <membereffdate>01/01/2006</membereffdate>
    <groupeffdate>01/01/2006</groupeffdate>
    <filelink>http://wlp1.mysite.com/eoc/195000-195000F001-11012005.pdf</filelink>
    </response>
    </eocresponse>

    solution that doesn't work

    This is what i have come up with and i am getting a 403 error. Any ideas?

    -----------------------
    dim xmlstr, WSRequest, Status, ResponseText, StatusText

    xmlstr = "<?xml version='1.0' encoding='ISO-8859-1'?>"
    xmlstr = xmlstr &"<eocrequest>"
    xmlstr = xmlstr &"<authentication>"
    xmlstr = xmlstr &"<username>eocrequestor</username>"
    xmlstr = xmlstr & "<password>I3bffCJF3eaXOWvwDppp</password>"
    xmlstr = xmlstr & " </authentication>"
    xmlstr = xmlstr & " <request>"
    xmlstr = xmlstr & "<type>link</type>"
    xmlstr = xmlstr & " <groupno>1503160005</groupno>"
    xmlstr = xmlstr & "<memberno>XFL123456789</memberno>"
    xmlstr = xmlstr & "<membereffdate>01012006</membereffdate>"
    xmlstr = xmlstr & "</request>"
    xmlstr = xmlstr & "</eocrequest>"

    set WSRequest = Server.createObject("Microsoft.XMLHTTP")

    WSRequest.Open "POST","http://l8z8r241.corp.mybox.com:8001/EOCWGSApp/EOCWGSRequest" ,false

    WSRequest.Send xmlstr
    Status = WSRequest.status
    StatusText = WSRequest.statusText
    ResponseText = WSRequest.responseText

    response.Write Status&"<br>"
    response.Write StatusTest&"<br>"
    Response.Write ResponseText
