    Re-direct in asp

    Hey,

    I am using server side javascipt and want to do a redirect to another asp page passing parameter values using the POST method. This redirect needs to occur if an else statement in my code is reached. I need to have a function which does this redirect to the other asp page, passing the parameters via POST. Can anyone give me any help on this please.

    Thanks in advance,
    Harry

    I have never used serverside javascript, but in terms of asp, you could grab it through the querystring:
    Code:
    Response.Redirect("Somepage.asp?var=boo")

    ' access with
    Request.QueryString("var")
    Good luck;

    Hi,

    Thanks for the reply. Thing is I'm using Request.Form to get my variables and need to post the data to the redirect asp page rather than appending the variables to the end of the url... I have got something like this below but I am getting an error on my last line of code:

    Code:
    function cancelSeating()
    {
    %>
    	<form name="hiddenForm" action="myasppage.asp" method="post">
    	<input type="hidden" name="date_" value="<%= date_ %>">
     	<input type="hidden" name="time_" value="<%= time_ %>">
    	</form>

    <%	document.hiddenForm.submit();
    }
    The error message is:Microsoft JScript runtime (0x800A1391)<br>'document' is undefined...

    Any Ideas...?
    Harry
