    form in asp or asp.net

    Hey all,

    does anyone know where i can find examples of asp or asp.net scripts (for a form), i am totally new to asp/asp.net and i have just switched to frontpage 2003 and MS2003 hosting and i cannot find anything or get anywhere, frontpage wont even let me configure the form properties to sent to an email address!

    Well, the first thing you need to do is make your mind up ASP is one thing, ASP.NET is another. Both have their advantages and disadvantages for someone new to server-side processing.

    For ASP, however, you might want to start by taking a poke at a few tutorials. Try http://www.w3schools.com/asp - their tutorials are generally well-delivered and give you the basics to get started (for ASP forms, see http://www.w3schools.com/asp/asp_inputforms.asp)

    It's a similar story for .NET, although it's not really my area so I'm not sure where to find good tutorials. http://www.asp.net/Tutorials/quickstart.aspx might be a good start, though.
