search for the mse.exe on your computer (if you have office 2000 installed) Its perfect for writing asp (with VB or Jscript) and it's helpfunction contains all the things you are looking for (and more) + it's free

sorry Mhtml, but that was the best I could do. I scanned it at 75dpi and a resolution of 1... yeah I could have imported it to imageready to optimize it but it wouldnt have made it that much smaller. The fact is that it is a large image (484x858). When are you going to jion the 21st century and get broadband... it only takes me 1/2 second to bring up that image... just kidding!

that is a fair statement, but there is no way I could afford broadband, well yet. I'm working on a big project comprising of a program I'm writing and an asp I'm also making, It's hopefully going to make me a large amount of money.....

ps: I'm not telling what it is.

    Hey,
    Big surprise with that MSE.exe.

I found it too, but how do I get it to show all the stuff for ASP?

I mean it opens the files and identifies all the areas of the code but where or how do I get it to show the ASP, VBScript, Syntaxes and such?

    Cheers,

Idiuf, i can't quite follow you. when i open an asp-file, my source looks just the same as in Oracleguy's post (with the syntax and completion boxes and all)

if your searching for the VB or Jscript function, the object and their arguments etc, just open the helpfunction and look at the content. You'll see its all their.

If you follow the link I posted above and Click on the VBScript Documentation link that's right in the middle of the page you can find all that documentation.

Question Can We Please Re-Visit This

Just got back from vacation and I really would like to get back on this one, please.

All the previous threads were greate advice and even thought I visited and read (for the most part) the contents, it still doesn't give ma a hoot and holler about what book I can get to keep at my desk one or two or three etc that covers the beef of the language (even SQL ADO VBS etc) without all the ""This is how you make a forum... this is how you make a shoping cart... visit this site for more... blah blah blah. I even spent three days in a *&%$#@ Microsuck Official Courses for ASP and that's all we (the class) got. I can't spend 24 hours on the INet reading site after site I'd like to have some real, tangable, reference book that wont fill me full of duhhhhhh and still keep me in the dark.

I mean, com'on... I would think that with all the users out there that come to this forum someone should have some sorta idea.

Well That's my beef, Hope someone can help.

    Cheers,
    Larry
