CreateObject(MSXML.XMLHTTPRequest) results in invalid ProgID error.
I'm developing a SOAP client in ASP for accessing a web service. On this statement:
Set oHTTP = Server.CreateObject("MSXML.XMLHTTPRequest")
I get this error:
Server object, ASP 0177 (0x800401F3)
Invalid ProgID. For additional information specific to this message please visit the Microsoft Online Support site located at: http://www.microsoft.com/contentredirect.asp.
/eclipse3work/ASP Workbench/SOAPClient.asp, line 10
I have a VB version of the program which works fine. I have MSXML 4 installed in my server. I believe it's something to do with the permissions for the IUSR_... account.
Could anyone explain why I get the error?
