    How do you stop long entries in databases changing the width of your pages?

    How do you stop long entires in databases changing the width of your pages?

    What i mean is if i have a field in an access database and its say a description of something and is many characters long, like a page of text - how do you make it go on more than one line and not just be a constant string of text on the same line?

    help please!

    how do you display the value?
    If it's inside a table or div, then you can set the width of the containing pageelement so that the text gets wrapped.

    <table width="100">
    <tr>
    <td>
    <%=objRS("longdescription")%></td>
    </tr>

    should be ok?
